3 - 5 lb Buffalo Bread and Butter Roast
(any type of roast will do, I prefer Bread and Butter)
1 large can beef broth
Buffalo meat has a great taste - you don't have to smother it with alot of different flavors. Try it simple first, before adding alot of other ingredients and enjoy America's Original Red Meat!
I love my roasts to fall apart (shredded) so this is my recipe-
I put a frozen buffalo roast and a large can of beef broth in the crockpot the night before on low and let it cook through the night and all day. For anyone looking to cook a thawed roast just put it in the crockpot the morning of and let it cook all day long (again on low).
Leftovers work great for soups and stews, you already have a great base with both the broth and the meat!
Always remember low and slow with buffalo meat!
